Streets for People is led by people from Cambridge – our people!

It is important that we hear from you throughout this project! Here is our project team who you can contact if you have any questions about the design or the roll out of this project. 

Sarah Ulmer

Former Olympic cyclist, mother of two and Cambridge resident, Sarah is a passionate advocate for children getting to school safely using healthier modes of transport.

Ben Frost

Ben is a passionate cyclist and father of two primary school children. Ben works at Beca ltd in Hamilton and brings a vast amount of experience in walking and cycling design as well as community engagement to the project. 

Aidan Boswell

Involved with the Safe Ways to School research in 2018, regular walker and cyclist for commuting and recreation, Aidan manages a mapping services business based in Cambridge. 

Regan Schoultz

A Cambridge resident, Regan attended local schools from primary school through to high school. After completing studies in Auckland and travelling the world, she has now returned to Cambridge and is keen to see the town begin its transformation into a hub for walking and cycling.  

Xinghao Chen

Streets for People is an excellent opportunity to encourage more kids to walk, bike and scoot to school by making it easier and more exciting for them to do so. As an advocate of walking, cycling and scootering, I think this is an amazing project for Cambridge.
